Spend a weekend volunteering in the Pecos Wilderness!
New Mexico Wild is hosting a Wilderness Ranger-led volunteer project to install signs in the beautiful Pecos Wilderness. We'll convene at the Panchuela Trailhead near Tererro, New Mexico at 8 a.m. on September 2nd to begin our 2-day trip. From the trailhead, we'll head up about 5 miles to Horsethief Meadow. We'll install three signs in total, with one on the way up. Training and tools will be provided! Participants will need to bring all necessary backpacking gear and meals for 2 days and 1 night in the field. Water filtration and snacks will be provided.
