Open Space Brewing – NM Wild Beer Release Event

20Jan2024

Let's cheers to 100 years of the Gila Wilderness and the future of the Gila River!

From 12:00 pm

At Open Space Brewing, Santa Clara, New Mexico

Join us for a special event in partnership with Grant County's newest brewery, Open Space Brewing!

Together, we're rallying community support for the Gila River’s Wild and Scenic designation through the creation of a unique brew, "Aldo’s Dream" – a Red IPA. This beer not only celebrates the Gila Wild and Scenic effort but also commemorates the centennial anniversary of the Gila Wilderness, the first designated Wilderness in America, established in 1924 at the urging of conservation pioneer Aldo Leopold.

Be a part of the celebration and toast to future protections at the release party starting at noon on Saturday, January 20, 2024, with a special toast at 1:00 pm. Enjoy live music by The Rockin Blue Geckos and delicious offerings from food vendors TGI Frybread and Big Tex BBQ Food Truck.

For every pint of “Aldo’s Dream” sold, one dollar will be donated to New Mexico Wild, supporting ongoing efforts to secure Wild and Scenic designation for the Gila River and its tributaries. Don't miss this fantastic blend of conservation, community, and craft beer!
