From 6:30 pm
At Hoodoo Trail in the Ojito Wilderness
Join New Mexico Wild for a new moon hike and a little bit of star gazing on the Hoodoo Trail in the Ojito Wilderness.
We'll meet at the trailhead at 6:30pm and will aim to start hiking by 6:45pm. Please remember to bring water, layers, and a headlamp, ideally with a red light feature. The trailhead is off a dirt road, but it is generally accessible to 2wd vehicles with the potential for a couple of rougher spots. Parking is free.
The Hoodoo Trail is roughly 3.3 miles with 278 feet of elevation gain.
