Join New Mexico Wild Cibola Wilderness Rangers for a signage project in the Apache Kid Wilderness over Earth Day weekend! This remote Wilderness needs some love after fire and water impacts.
During a 3-day front country camping project out of Springtime Campground, we'll be installing 5 signs in the Apache Kid Wilderness. On our last day, you can expect a strenuous but beautiful 6-mile day hike. We will provide tools, training, and water and will be cooking a group dinner for participants on Saturday. Bring your work gloves, camping/hiking gear, food for the rest of your meals, and a positive mindset.
