At Nacimiento Mine entrance on NM Highway 126 near Cuba, NM
New Mexico Wild is seeking volunteers to contribute to a trail maintenance project co-led by the Continental Divide Trail Coalition and CDT Trail Adopter, Dr. Richard (Dick) Kozoll. This project is scheduled for Saturday, June 21 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Santa Fe National Forest staff will also participate in the project.
This project will focus on corridor improvement and signage of the upper and lower portions of a new section of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDT) from the Nacimiento Mine to the Las Vacas Trail junction, to improve public access and enjoyment along the CDT.
This is a great opportunity to see this amazing new trail and contribute to its improvement!
