Shelled Synchilla is legendary among both mountain and urban dwellers. The Supplex nylon shell resists abrasion and tears; its finish looks like tightly wovencotton. Quick-drying, 10-oz. Synchilla fleece warms the torso while lighter weight fleece in the jacket's sleeves reduces bulk. Both jacket and vest have high standup collars, rib-knit waistbands and full-length wind flaps to keep the zippers draft-free. The jacket's inside zip pocket secures valuables.
