Beautiful gold filled handkerchief holder on a finger chain dating from the turn of the century.
It is a very dainty little piece, and works well! There is a small ring (not the finger ring) that slides up and down the handle of the "tongs" that allows them to open and also holds them closed.
Has a dark patina in places, mostly on the ring and chain, which I have not cleaned or polished.
