Event Description

We will arrive at sunset for an evening stroll into the new Ojito Wilderness. Our destination will be a panel of ancient petroglyphs and the excavation site of the world’s largest dinosaur: Seismosaur. Join us as we adventure into New Mexico’s newest Wilderness under a full moon. Bring some hot chocolate, and be prepared for a surreal experience!

Hiking distance: Approximately 3 miles round-trip

Time: 2-3 hours round-trip plus driving time

Elevation range: 5,800 to 6,000 feet

Difficulty: Easy
