The New Mexico Wilderness Alliance has partnered with Sembrando Semillas on Service Projects and and Outdoor Youth Activities over the past two years to strengthen the ties between conservation organizations and traditional communities in northern New Mexico. Sembrando Semillas (Growing Seeds) Youth Program was created in partnership with the New Mexico Acequia Association to inspire and facilitate the development of the next generation of parciantes (acequia irrigators) in northern New Mexico. NM Wild facilitates volunteer service projects to engage youth from Acequia Communities in hands-on stewardship of watersheds in northern New Mexico. For more information contact john@nmwild.org.
