Albuquerque City Council Proclaims Get Outdoors Day, June 12

On June 7th, The Council of the City of Albuquerque joined the President and our Governor in recognizing June 12th, 2010 as National Get Outdoors Day.

The Council highlighted the importance of New Mexico’s Leave No Child Inside coalition and of outdoor and environmental education.

Be sure to join NMWA at Tingley Beach on Saturday, June 12th for the city’s official celebration of Get Outdoors Day! Take part in a variety of family activities from 10:00AM to 2:00PM and enter to win raffle prizes!
