THE PLACE: This hike, in the Columbine-Hondo Wilderness Study Area northeast of Taos, New Mexico, will include a visit to Goose Lake and will be filled with spectacular scenery, from the Taos Ski Valley to Wheeler Peak Wilderness. The Columbine-Hondo Wilderness is a wild mountain basin boasting one of the healthiest mountain watersheds in the region.
